First Vision

The first vision is my first work in Illustrator. For me the first design is boring. The illustrations I found on Internet for free use.

I had bad feeling about the last second version. Something disturbing me in here. So I made the picture of actors bigger and I think that is better:

Nick Curtain gave me a feedback which confirmed my worry about the feeling that the poster is rather for a concert instead for a play. As a first I have made a mood - board:

I like the first version, on the second I do not like the space under the photo of actors.

Poster Exercise: Poster for Chopin play in my town in two version

We had to make two version. The first fulfill of information and second with minimum (extreme minimum) information. For the first I used all information which I found on the web-page of theater and for the second I tried to be minimalistic. I like the second version, it is clear and simple. But I had feel that it is invitation for a concert not for play. I put these pictures on web HTCIP to expected some critique:

Poster Exercise: mood board

After I found some posters and made a mind mapping I decided to made a mood board. I put there Chopin photographs, a grand piano, piano key details, sheets of music and some kind of characters. The picture of Chopin in middle was taken from other poster and I really liked the color. This color was my starting point to design poster. I tried layers of these things blend them somehow together and the result is here. The mood board helped me to built quite easy a poster as in leaflet exercise. Here it is:
