Vincent van Gogh - The Church at Auvers
I saw this painting on wall in my office. I very liked three colors in and I made a try to find their relation. When I discovered that that they are triad I made a picture. I like it. Vincent was genius and his use of color is amazing. I still remember his sunflower which I saw in National gallery in London. The colors were so shinning, capturing my eyes. It was great experiences. I must see it again!

Expectation of Layout part
Well, I think that I will explore more about relation how components in layout works, how they affect each other. I know that there are rules about layout and I am curious what happen when they are broken. I will be glad to get more skills in typography/illustration/photograph combination within layout.

Sutnar's visual flow
I wanted to put here the interesting approach by Sutnar (czeach/american designers www.sutnar.cz). He discovered that a natural focal point for eye is upper right hand corner and could be use as starting point for visual flow.
Rule of thirds
The points are not mathematically distributed as we can see it in picture below. I found diagram below in a book LAYOUT by Gavin Ambrose & Paul Harris.
On the right side is the fresca painting Triuf Galatey by Raffael santi. Here we see the main figure framed the central lines and the cherubs are over top line.

My feedback to tutor report form on assignment typography

I have feel that my progress in typography was a small step into the world of typography and it has endless potential to explore. The whole feedback was very positive on my assignment and encouraged me in playing with typography in future. I watch every day the typography (in magazines, books, around my way to work). I like that sometimes I am able to recognize which the typography spoke in right way and that which is not appropriate to the context. The feedback made me sure I did a progress in it. I have strong feel of tutor support for my using illustration and modernist style. It makes me sure that this era will be under my microscope. Also, I am glad that my illustrative schemes were appraised. I was in design process for cover of catalog for my company. I had problems to find a correct cover. I think a scheme of a plant which shows what we can do will suit for it. I will post it after it will be done. So, I think I have just to carry on developing my skills in typography design, thank you Christian for your feedback.
